Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These terms apply when you use leakdetectiongreeley.com or ask about our services. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Leak Detector Greeley. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our business address is 2420 W 16th St, Greeley, CO 80634. Our phone number is (970) 447-1609.

What we do

We provide leak detection for homes and residential property in Greeley, Colorado, and nearby areas. We locate water leaks, mark them, and write down what we found.

We do not repair leaks. We do not provide plumbing, electrical, mold, restoration, engineering, legal, or insurance services. A licensed plumber or other qualified trade must perform repairs. Colorado licenses plumbers through the state, so check a plumber's license before you hire them.

Information on this site

The pages on this site give general information. We write them to help homeowners understand leaks. They are not professional advice for your home.

  • Not a diagnosis. Reading our guides does not replace a leak detection visit.
  • Not legal, insurance, or financial advice. Ask your own advisor about your policy, your rights, and your costs.
  • Not a guarantee. Every home and every leak differs.

We try to keep the information accurate and current. Rates, rules, and prices change. We cannot promise that every statement stays correct. Check with the source, such as the City of Greeley, before you act.

Prices and cost information

Cost ranges on this site come from named public sources, such as home services publishers. They describe typical market prices. They are not quotes from us. Your price depends on your home, the type of leak, access, and timing.

We will tell you what a visit includes and what it costs before we book it. A quote is valid only for the work and time stated when we give it.

Water rates and examples on this site come from City of Greeley publications. Rates change. Use the examples to understand how billing works. Confirm current rates with Greeley Water and Sewer.

Booking and visits

When you book a visit, you agree to the following.

  • Accurate information. You give us correct details about the property and the problem.
  • Access. You make sure we can reach the meter, shutoffs, crawlspaces, and areas we need to test. You tell us about pets, locked gates, and hazards.
  • Authority. You own the property or have permission from the owner to book the work.
  • Safety. You tell us about electrical risks, standing water, mold, or any other hazard we should know.
  • Changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as soon as you can.

We may decline or stop work if conditions are unsafe.

Emergency service

We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Response time depends on demand, distance, and weather. We cannot promise an arrival time. In an emergency, shut off your main water valve and move to safety. Call an electrician if water reaches electrical equipment. Call 911 for any threat to life or safety.

What a detection visit can and cannot do

Leak detection uses sound, thermal imaging, moisture readings, and pressure tests. These methods are powerful. They have limits.

  • We may not find every leak. Some leaks sit too deep, too small, or too quiet to locate.
  • A marked location shows the most likely spot based on our testing. A repair contractor should confirm it before they cut.
  • Conditions can change. A leak found today may be different next week.
  • We report what we tested and saw on the day of the visit.

We tell you if we cannot find a leak and what we tested.

Reports

Our written reports record our tests, findings, and photos. You may share them with insurers, buyers, landlords, and contractors. Reports do not replace a home inspection, an engineering report, or a plumber's quote. They do not state that coverage applies or that a claim will be paid.

Repairs by other professionals

When you hire a plumber or other contractor, you contract with them, not with us. We are not responsible for their work, their pricing, their schedule, or their results. We may share a general suggestion about the type of repair a leak may need. The contractor decides how to repair it.

Damage to property

We take care when we work in your home. We do not open walls, floors, or slabs. If a test requires us to touch or move your property, we ask first. Tell us about fragile or valuable items before we start.

Third-party links

This site links to government and agency pages and other sources. We do not control them and do not endorse everything they say. Use them at your own risk.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, and graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view the site for personal use. You may not copy, republish, or sell our content without our written permission.

Photos on this site marked as examples show typical leak detection scenes. They do not show our customers' homes.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, do not:

  • Break the law.
  • Try to harm or disrupt the site.
  • Try to gain access to systems you should not reach.
  • Send false or harmful information.
  • Use automated tools to scrape the site at a rate that burdens it.

Disclaimer of warranties

We provide the site and its information "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties. That includes warranties of accuracy and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the site will always work or stay free of errors.

Limitation of liability

The law lets us limit liability. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the site. That includes lost profits and costs from relying on general information.

For services we perform, our liability stops at the amount you paid for the visit in question. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Indemnity

You agree to defend us against claims that come from misuse of the site or a breach of these terms. This applies to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will go to the state or federal courts that serve Weld County, Colorado, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
